MET Gala 2019 - Our Favourite Looks!

Ok we know, while most people were enjoying the last of the Bank Holiday weekend last night, we were, as ever <2017 review>,< 2018 review> glued to our Instagram Stories waiting for some #Instastories leaks. We were left waiting and watching Chris Appleton, yet again looking after Kim Kardashian West and we saw that favourite product of ours - Color Wow's Dreamcoatand then we flipped over to Joseph Maine's #instastories and saw him working with Color Wow's Dreamcoat on Vera Wang no less!

However before we go any further, let's talk about this year's theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” and “camp” is a sensibility sketched out by Susan Sontag in her 1964 essay that pertains mostly to the decorative arts, like for example fashion. Back then, over half a century ago, it was difficult to define. Sontag wrote 58 points that gestured at a definition but never landed on a concise one (too un-camp to be definitive about camp, you see). In the decades after, the culture split open, and there is arguably more campiness than there is non-camp in the world—at least at our current junction.

So our Favourite outfits then then for 2019.
