Greene Room - What is the cold setting on a hair dryer for_

GRAsks? What is the cold setting on a hair dryer for?

So if you are like me, you know that you grab your hairdryer in the morning and you go at your hair blast drying it as fast as you can so that you can run out the door!

And then there are moments of inspiration when you look down at the handle and go, why is there a blue/cold blast button on my HAIR DRYER! Is a cold hair dryer good for hair?

So what is the function of this mysterious "cool shot" button? It helps seal the hair cuticle, setting the final look for long-lasting hold and adds shine. When your hair is about 80 percent dry, switch over to the cool shot to finish it off! In addition, using the "cool shot" is also great to lock in a curl, or if you set your hair in curlers, it works to cool down your hair and lock in the waves as desired and give you a great shine as well!
